Hey, which song or music has made an impact on you or has not got faded even if you have shared it multiple times over the years. So for me, actually, there are many, but in particular, I have a song which I have shared with you on this swell. So it's called The Aroma Song sung by Cheryl Gershwin and music by Rajan. Hey, Karthick, thank you for sharing this. It's not something that I'm familiar with, but after listening to it, I was pretty blown away. It was so, you know, ethereal and otherworldly almost. And it kind of took me to another planet, so to speak. I really appreciate music that kind of takes you out of your element and puts you into a whole nother world. So the song that I'm actually going to share is one that I believe does that as well

Camp Cope ❀️ https://youtu.be/HyR4x90il2o #feminism #abolitionist #emo

I cannot explain how much I love the band. Camp Coop, their band I discovered about a handful of years ago, and I love them because I think they are the definition of radical in the best way. And as a band, they're pretty much everything I wanted as a teenager. They describe themselves as power email, which I think is pretty great. And all their songs are so catchy and singable and about really difficult and important things, and I just love them so much

If you know him even remotely, he's like a world musician who uses mainly synthesizers to create his music. His recorded work is okay. I mean, I got into him, but it's not something that I feel took me to the next level. There are unique pieces, but when he goes to concert, it is a completely different experience. He's got an extremely talented band

It's good stuff. I really like Devin Towns, and I've been listening to him for a long time all the way back. Strapping Young lad. But the band I like, probably my favorite band is David Tool. Lateralis is the song in particular I'm referring to if you don't know, it uses the Fibonacci sequence and the lyrics count the syllables. I'm going to post a video that kind of explains the song more than the actual song itself

My favorite Tool song! https://youtu.be/civuoU_NE38

And I saw Danny Kerry actually, once play in a pretty small jazz club. And I mean, like to be in the presence of a guy who commands his instrument to that level is just absolutely incredible. Incredible. But yeah, good to have you here. Nice to have somebody to talk about progressive Metal with

Hey, man, that's really cool. Yeah. The Pot's a great song. I can't really decide what my favorite Tool song is. I posted lateralis because it's got a cool song, but really, it's just what yours. Everyone I listened to last probably at Sauce, and you got to see Puss for too. I like some of their stuff. Not nearly as much as Tool, but still good stuff. Actually, I've seen Tool twice

Hey, Karthick, thanks for this awesome swell. There are many favorites, but I'm going with the first of many such favorites of mine, and I hope to keep adding on to this Powell from time to time. Thank you

Hi. I'll be the odd one out, and I'll put somebody out there who is actually very, very widely known now I found her a year and a half ago when she was only a child. Now she's 18 and she's won a lot of awards, and she's out there and she's on the radio and feel like people like that get a lot of smack talk because they are so popular and people like to jump on the bandwagon for those type of people

And I think the lead singer, Freddie Mercury, who kind of rose to the occasion and warned the crowd singing with the kind of emotion that you hardly find in live performance today, to be honest. So this is one video that I keep going back to and wondering, why wasn't I there when this happened? So just sharing the link here. I hope you like it

And on that was the full performance of all three movements of Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. And I'll never forget that moment. It was literally like I was suddenly in this dark pit, almost like the white room in The Matrix. But it was all black. It just sucked up everything around me. Everything ceased to exist except for that music. In that moment, it just grabbed my soul. And I'll never forget that moment

It is definitely considered as one of the all time best performances ever. And it's amazing to see the kind of grasp that Freddie Mercury has on the entire audience that's, like, what, 80,000 strong. It's unbelievable. You have a Stadium filled with 80,000 people and all clapping in unison to Radio Gaga or the time when he just, like, after Radio Gaga, he just stops and he just asks them to chant along with him
