Yet the point of poetry is to be in connection with exactly where we are and that can sometimes be totally ignorant and profane and angry and mean. But that's where the gold of poetry is sometimes. And if we just keep going down the same train tracks of an old language, an old poetic language that we're trying to uphold, we're really missing this evolution of our work. So I think next Monday, hopefully I'll have that poem
