What’s the best way forward to end the crisis in Syria?

The Karan Spring was a movement which was largely successful in effecting change. Some would argue that it created a lot of political and economic instability in the short term. It began Indonesia and had a Domino's effect. Governments in Libya and Egypt soon fell. But the one country which didn't see a change in its politics is Syria. It's been about ten years since the civil war in Syria began, and Bashar Al Assad continues to rule over the country

It's a crazy situation

The trouble is that as much as Bashar doesn't want to be there, Bashar Alasada, we go back a bit and talk about Bashar Al Assad because he's a very interesting character. His older brother was being groomed. His father was obviously the President. His older brother was being groomed to be the President, and he was a far more brutal man than Bashar is. So he was given military training, was very clever, was very nasty and ruthless
