You get to be part of the DGA if you direct documentaries, but if you are a writer, you are not considered eligible, as far as I know, anyway. I'm feeling a little sad and scared for what's going to happen. I really hope that the networks and the people that work there are being realistic about valuing people instead of just dollars. Yeah. What do you think?

It's not about anything else. It's just about making money. And when that's the focus and it's not about making a contribution or doing something better for the world or when it's just about compensating your shareholders, then why would you pay for anything if you didn't have to? What would be great is if everybody made money. And I'm just thinking these I said to Deborah before I posted, I was like, I'm going to be blacklisted if anyone hears this
Hey, Jasmine, thanks for sharing this. I'm sorry it's so close to home for you. It's not a good situation by any means. And I drove by Universal Studios the other day, and the amount of people out there in basically 100 degree weather all day long, I mean, it's unbelievable. And you think about some of the statements that have been made by certain executives, bob Iger being one of them, and they're just incredibly out of touch

Hello. Thank you for sharing. It was really glad to hear your point of view on this subject. I think it's very interesting that we have the Hollywood, the entertainment world. Either we talk about scripted or unscripted. It's one of the most considered by many people. It's the most glamorous profession in the world. It's one of the most aspirational professions in the world. So the idea that people who are working to create are not being compensated enough are barely getting by
And a lot of kids are not only going to college, but they're picking up trades because you can make over $100,000 as a carpenter or a pipe fitter, whatever the case may be. And that's about as far as I could go. But the opposition that you're talking about and something I've seen where some of these companies will spend more money saying no than just saying yes just to be spiteful, you know what I mean?
