What type of potato chip do you like?

article image placeholderUploaded by @JordanTepper
You. Good afternoon. Good morning, good night. Good day. Hello from my wonderful world of food. So I was at my favorite hot dog place today called I Dream of Weenie. It is a real place here in Nashville, Tennessee. And I was eating a slaw dog, which had a really great soft, warm bun topped with onions, coleslaw, and mustard. And I was eating type potato chip, and I'm thinking, what is my favorite way a potato chip is cooked?

British crisps of course https://s.swell.life/STdDqFJsjHBI3Lm

Hey, Jordan, this is a great question. I love pedal chips as well, and I try Ali types of them, but by far the one I enjoy the most happened to be British. The British crisps are just, I think, a whole different league. And that's the one thing I buy whenever I go to England and come back to the US. The one thing I usually get back with me the few bags of British crests. So my vote is for them

They're in the same family, I'm going to cut listening to you short and just go ahead and reply before I get hungry. So my favorite type of chip and you didn't ask for flavor, like you said, but I just need potato and salt. My favorite kind of chip would be a crinkle cut chip. So, like a ruffles

Like, I'm just eating just Pringles, like grabbing a handful or whatever. But Kettle Cooked, I think, by far, takes the cake for me. And weird thing is, I used to avoid those because I was like, they're too crunchy, they're too hard. So just kind of, like, evolved in my chip maturity, I think. Thanks for sharing this. I'm excited to hear what everybody has to say. Have a good rest of your day

Antiange. A potato chip and a French fry are so distant cousins. I can't see it. I know that they're both potatoes, okay? But they're in a whole nother realm of delicacies. I mean, we can have a whole nother discussion. And I think I will about french fries

You, Mark. Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I do like fresh cut chips, especially, like when you go to a fair and they have the potato and they cut the potato there in front of you and then throw it into the fryer. And after living in New England, I have grown to like putting salt and vinegar on my potato chips. Make it really simple. But I also I like just like pepper. Not even salt, just pepper. Or even some old base seasoning

Now, I don't know if I've just the last several years, I've been eating healthier. And so there's some food now. Dessert has not been altered, but there's some food that I've had in the past and enjoyed, thoroughly enjoyed, that I just cannot enjoy any longer. Like, the taste of my tongue feels and tastes disgusting. Potato chips is on that list now. With that being said, my sub to that were tortilla chips

You. Thank you so much for your reply. And, yeah, I do really like those tortilla chips. I like them because they're good and they're $2. Always $2. And yeah, they're now, I don't know. I can't get on the wagon of that. You can't have potato chips

It's, Jordan. I'm definitely here for the conversation about French fries. I know people are going to say that shoestring fries are the best and I'm ready to debate them all that I have. I will die on this hill of the crinkle cut french fry being number one. So, please, let's have that conversation

I have to say this. Potato chips are my weakness. I just had some Pringles today, as a matter of fact. But I love kettle cooked potato chips. I really do. I love them because they taste like they don't have as many preservatives as, like, your Pringles and your Lays chips. So I like the Snyder's kettle cooked chips the best. I love those. And I also love Utts

I don't like them too thick either. Sometimes crinkled chips can be too thick. But those are great for dipping. They say ruffles have ridges and those ridges are great for dipping. Thank you so much for your input. I appreciate it

I'm going to eat it. And I remember having burger and fries, and they had the crinkle cut fries. And I was like, and girl and I know it's all mental because a fries are fries. A fry is a fry. Now I say that it was so good. And the texture on my tongue, it was lightly salted. And they were fresh fries, so they were soft, but they had a little crisp to them

Fry. Yes. Everything you said about the crinkle cut fry is spot on. Not only the first time that I have them, but every time. So please, when Jordan has this debate about french fries, this conversation, I'm already ready for it to be a debate. Please come in and have my back. Because the crinkle cut french fry lovers have to unite. We have to unite
