Cardio: Treadmill or Outside?🏃‍♂️💨

And I try to avoid the treadmill as much as possible because most of my life I've been like a cross country runner, just like a distance runner overall with track as well. And I like running outside. But unfortunately, here in Illinois, the weather has been really terrible. It's been up and down. We've literally gone through the entire season like different seasons in one week

But I don't know. I just like the nature. I like being in nature more, and it feels more rewarding to me outside. But I guess there's really no difference either way, you're running the same amount

Hi. So I actually made a swell about running and you responded. I saw that. But I definitely prefer running outside. I also try and avoid the treadmill just because I get so bored and I feel like running outside, like there's just a different kind of terrain and you can be on it inclined without even really realizing it. And I think it's just better for the brain and specifically my mind just to be in nature and outside and kind of feel even better after running outside versus treadmill

I take him for his word because I can't run on those things for any prolonged period of time. If I'm forced to go inside, then I'll mix it up with a little bit of treadmill, a little bit of bike, a little bit of the rowing machine, and try to break it up into 15 minutes intervals to make it one passable mentally and then two where I'm not really having that repetitive motion over and over

I'll go to the gym, do a warm up on the treadmill, and then go on to my strength training routine. But for me, it's I either hit the trails, I'll go to a park and just hit the pavement or the trails. And yeah, the treadmill. I try to stay away from as much as possible
