When/How should Gun Violence in the US be addressed?

Hello everyone, I wanted to talk today about gun violence in the United States and if or when it's possible for it to end. Before that, I want to make clear that I know I'm no expert as gun violence has been a continuing complex issue since the country has been created and I am simply wanting to use this well as a discussion session rather than an opinionated or argumentative piece

The NRA needs to go back to its bipartisan roots

And I think that really started to change the game and change the dynamic of the conversation that needs to happen, because I honestly believe not just with this but anything in Washington, if you really want to enact a long lasting law or regulation that needs to be bipartisan, and I don't see that happening a lot in DC. It's not just this issue, it's a lot of issues. But you really need that bipartisan

And as much as we could say about the political side of things and about lobbying and about the NRA and about all of these companies that manufacture arms, one thing that I want to talk about instead of focusing on those is just the way that we normalize guns in this country and how that sort of leads to normalization of violence. And I think that one place that I look is policing

She said there are a lot of kids around that are doing drugs and getting into aliens and doing stuff such as shooting others and everything. So we need guns to protect ourselves from them is what that particular lady said. We just said that the Second Amendment needs to be changed. I feel that's one key factor for the ones that say that it has now been set in stone. I mean, the nation is a great nation and change can be brought if the people wish to
