Why is the music people blast on their car stereos so bad?

It's not when I'm pulling around in residential neighborhoods. I'm well aware with a young child that especially when you're hitting seven, eight. There are parents trying to put their kids to bed, and then there are just a lot of us who have better taste who don't want to hear it. So if you're going to disturb me, please be kind and use your imagination. Try to show me some depth in your musical taste

Addendum

I did want to add an addendum that I think AC DC Rocks, but I've certainly heard my fair share on Classic Rock stations and from Car Stereos. Thanks

stay!🤣

Do I pass her name wrong? I probably don't. But anyway, Stay, cat Power an amazing version of that song, and I was kind of blasting it, and I was at a stop sign and somebody turned to me kind of cocking their head like, Wait, that's a song I love. But that's not the person singing it that I know. And it was one of those funny moments where I just looked at that person and kind of smiled and I saw their confusion

Jessica, what an interesting post, partially because I completely agree with you and a lot of the music that I hear. People blast is just horrible, and partially because I am certainly guilty of this. And also I'm probably the person that when other folks comment on a question like this, they say, oh yeah, I pulled up next to this guy. He was blasting the most atrocious heavy metal music I've ever heard. That's what my mom would say for sure

@DBPardes @Taylor Such great replies!

I mean, a lot of stuff sounds good. Loud. Let's use our imaginations. And truly, I think even if I was someone who didn't like heavy metal, I'd be really thrilled to hear someone play something that's a little bit distinct. So I'd be all for it. I'd say all the power to them, and I tend to do that even if I am disturbed if the person has shown some sign of thought to what they're cranking

Where are all the cool people, playing cool tunes?

Hey, Jessica, How's it going? Nice to meet you. I love music coming out of windows, whether it's car windows or apartments. But it's got to be good music, right? And I agree with you. People play so much rubbish music, man. According to us, though, right? Just horrible. Like you said, just like bass. I don't know, man. No taste. And so I always listen to all types of music

Here’s to music from open windows!

Hi, Mark. Nice to meet you, too. I love your reply. I so agree. You kind of nailed what I was trying a little bit more to say was that it's like a seduction. If someone is playing some really good music and it doesn't happen enough. But when it does, boy, does it ever make your heart leap? Yeah. And I love that you're playing Sam Cook on vinyl in the background
