But I went to the record store and I bought a 1971 version. In fact, 219 71 version. One was a little bit more than the other, and it's thicker vinyl, and I think it sounds different from the other, just slightly more bassy or something. I don't know

Maybe she kicks it off with some disco, and then she plays a couple. You play a couple, I play a couple, and then we see where that vibe takes us. I think this would be cool

I have a friend who writes about music, and he's always talking about how much disco had a bad name, even when it was really huge for some pretty awful reasons, actually, but it has prevailed, and it totally prevails as something that does lift us up. And I agree, it's so good

I don't really feel the need to absorb or assimilate the modern generations music, especially since it's very much not musically challenging. Musically bereft of intelligence. The rap is just like somebody drinking a bottle of tequila mumbling b**** over and over again. So I was glad to at least I made the effort to go out there and look because I couldn't believe that it was just a bunch of nonsentence finishing mumbling idiots
