"…I look for things to lift myself up because January tends to be a bit of a bummer, especially weather wise out here on the West Coast, although we have a bunch of lovely, glorious snow this year. Anyway, there's a certain accessibility to 90s dance music. It has just the right amount of soul, but it's super upbeat and pop to the point where my daughter's really into listening to it.…"

"…Oh, by no means my done listening to Christmas music. Uhuh, in our house. We go straight through January 6. So I sort of ride it out and find things that sparkle and make me excited, like upbeat music.…"

"…Hey, Clay, I love that you shared your first song of 2022. What a great answer to question. I wish I asked that's awesome. I want to put it on a new mixtape that I'm going to be sharing soon on New Year's Flavors, because I do think of it as a time where we have to add a flavor or it's kind of absent. There's a fallout.…"
