Where Do You Fall on the Map of Alt Music History?

article image placeholderLet's All Obsess Over This Intricate Map of Alt Music History
There are a lot for me. I would say that I grew up listening to quite a lot. I grew up listening to pretty much everything out of CBGB, not quite so much from the first wave of punk in the UK other than the Clash. So for me, the Sex Pistols came later. They came after probably even Joy Division. I would say that Joy Division was really my gateway

I cannot believe I don't know about Low, like, now I know about Low, and I just downloaded their album from Spotify, and I'm just going to live with it. And I just love the sparseness and the clarity of their sound really exciting. I haven't watched video yet, so I'll do that now, but thank you so much. I'm going to link everybody to this song called lullaby

So glad you are enjoying Low https://s.swell.life/SSgZQydja4QmYrs

Hi, Deborah, thank you so much for your response. I'm totally excited that you're into this group. They're really prolific too. I can't believe, you know, they put out the albums they have as quickly on the heels, deals with each other with the depth and quality. And thanks so much for referring them all up because I'm not as familiar with the earliest tunes I came in

Woops!

Oh, my God. I realized I posted it on the wrong swell. That's so weird. Thank you for. I think you resuelled it for me. Yeah, I was confused, but yes, yes, yes. Sometimes I listed too many swells and posted the wrong swell, which makes for Crosswells. That's kind of cool. Okay. Thanks
