Hey, everybody, this is Jeri in the Fla of the USA and I want to give a shout out to Silver in the 808 States and Grace representing the whole West Coast. So Phil sent me Macy Gray song last night and upon listening to it and a few other songs this morning, I'm one so grateful that she sent it because I've been wanting to revisit Macy Gray. And two, the thoughts of how the cage bird and the free bird just don't get each other

I remember hearing it actually back in the day when I had played this album over and over again, but I'm really glad to, oh, my God, to get into it again. I'm curious about you. I don't know much about you. I'm just hearing this for the first time here on Swell. Are you a singer? And if so, how do we get to hear your music

Hey, Deborah, this is Jeri. I'm really flattered by your comments. I am new to swell, and I'm enjoying it. I am only a singer in the sense that I love to sing. I've always loved to sing, but I've never been much of a performer at all. Really. I tell people that I have a Barbara striking like allergy to performing in person

Hey, Jerry, I gotta tell you, as a matter of coincidence, that tomorrow Wednesday at 530 for a half an hour, I'm going to have my first singing lesson since I was a young kid. I took a little. I took some singing lessons when I was in high school. My mom was a singer, and she kind of pushed me into some of the vocalization stuff, but it was short lived. But I use my voice for my whole life

And so this sounds really great because when you say that it's an actual school of teachers and there's a program and that there's rigor to this program, that sounds wonderful because I know what I'm looking for for myself as far as just that time alone with my voice and a teacher who can teach me about the voice and help me identify what my strengths and weaknesses are. So that is exciting, and I just applaud you and I am supporting you
