Mental illnesses In the Church 👀 PT 3

article image placeholderUploaded by @jefferydbrower

You, man. I think you're in the right vein here. I said in a reply to the first swell cast that you had made, the first episode of it. This is an important topic, and it does need to be discussed. Church members are allowed to be depressed. Just like a broken ankle isn't caused by a shaky prayer life. If it's a chemical imbalance inside your brain. It's not caused by an angry God

You gave us a balance of both with what you just said. And that really just blessed me. Like, for real. I was just sitting there listening like, why not? Look, I almost started out to reply. I was like, hey, I really got nothing else to say after that. This man of God just really just shut it down to where, you know, like, wow. And it was good natural and spiritual advice

Galatians says, Brethren, if any man be overtaken in a fault, you, which are spiritual, go pick him up. And there have been plenty of times. The reason I'm here right now making five minute podcasts on the goodness of God and trying to just make some noise and rattle some cages every once in a while is because I had some people that were willing to come and lift me up. And I know that I have been the source of a prayer meeting or two in my time
