How do you deal with burnout?

article image placeholderWork
And the fact of the matter is that I've just begun and to already experience burnout. Well, that's going to not serve me very well as I apply to graduate school as I apply to various full time positions. So my hope in talking with you all about this is to gain some tools, some different ideas and some things that have worked for you all or maybe didn't work for you all that way

Professional careers & education require a lot of energy. How do we replenish that when it’s low? #growth #professionalism

Also give yourself incentives once you complete certain tasks.

I hope you get through it. I fully understand, but you just got to take it day by day and kind of give yourself the Grace to feel what you're feeling as well as hold yourself accountable. It's like this duality because adulting is hard and the next step to full time. I feel like school is harder than actually having a full time job, in my opinion, but it depends on what you're going into as well

Thank you, Chai, for your kind words. That's really helpful, actually. And I really appreciate your perspective about about learning because I do. I love to learn. And I think something that College has come kind of done for me is like I had this misconception that once I got into College, the things that I studied, the classes that I would take would all be around my interests. And I think that's definitely more so true in College than it was for me in high school
