Global energy related CO2 emissions fell by 5.8%, according to the latest statistical data, the largest annual percentage decline since World War Two. In absolute terms, the decline in emissions of almost 2000 million tons of CO2 is without precedent in human history

Lockdowns strategically

The only problem is the pandemic is like an immediate existential threat, while climate change is something that we don't feel immediately. But maybe as we see more and more large scale consequences of climate change really affecting people's day to day life, that's lockdowns or trying to curb people's behavior might become a tool in your toolboxes
