New Month New Goals

article image placeholderUploaded by @IsabellaSabrina
We're four months into 2024, and for me personally, I will say 2024 is showing me blessings within the chaos. Okay. As I told you guys, as a young 24 year old, this is my first real big girl job time. And I'm trying to save. I'm trying to also enjoy life, because we're not just here to work, work, work, and pay bills, bills, bills, bills, bills

It is April we are 4 months into the new year #growth #goals #therapy #adulthood #trauma

So I don't know if yours is like mine or whatever, but trust me, you eventually get stronger from it. It'll make you a better person, and one day you'll be able to be at peace with it, like I am. But I'm gonna tell you, it didn't happen overnight, but it did happen. So I hope you continue to have a great month. I'm looking to hear for new, wonderful things from you

Like, it's a very deep, traumatic childhood that I have when it came to, like, being punished, that I. I try to be vulnerable about it, but it also upsets me at the same time. So please definitely check out some of my previous episodes on, like, being an adult daughter of a narcissistic mother and having emotionally unavailable parents. Definitely check those out. You'll get a more deeper picture of, like, my relationship with my mom

But I know that for my entire life before I had my kids, I always would say I don't want to be my mom, but I don't know. But I can't, you know, say that what they feel is not what they feel. And we do know that sometimes the things that we go through, we do pass it along. So I'm dealing with that as well

Hey, again. Yeah. Thank you for responding. I honestly feel like it's so refreshing to know that other people, especially other women, have dealt with this kind of mother daughter dynamic that I'm dealing with. Like, growing up, I grew up in a caribbean household. It's very much childish to be seen. Not her kind of mentality. And growing up, my mom, it was her way of the highway. Hell, it's still her damn way or the highway
