Kristen Stewart is a striking Princess Diana in the mad, mesmeric ‘Spencer’

It's a movie that begs discussion and dissection and resist it as well. I was quite taken of the film, but I have a sense it will not be universally acclaimed. And I'm certainly curious to hear what you think if you see it. Spencer now in theaters, we have Kristen Stewart All right. Thanks for listening. Bye

This strange mix of reality and fiction is one of the fall’s more compelling films.

For years now, her and Robert Patterson have been giving great performances and tons of movies. I recall her performance and personal shopper to be one of her best, and Robert Patterson was great in The Lighthouse in good time. I didn't think they got enough praise for those performances in those movies, but now it finally seems like they are finally getting the recognition that they both deserve

Isaac, thank you so much for this review. And Dominique, I loved hearing your thoughts as well. This film was not on my radar. I hadn't even heard of it, so I was thrilled to hear such a glowing review. And really looking forward forward to seeing how Kristin Stewart handles this role. It seemed like an incredible fit as soon as I heard the beginning of your review

I completely agree with you. I actually fell in love with Kristen the time I saw her starting in Twilight, but she did not get the right amount of recognition that she kind of deserved during that time. And I'm am glad that this was kind of the movie when people actually appreciated her. Spencer definitely showed a great side of Kristen. And thanks for your review. Just found this

It was about the interplay between her and Pattinson and the sparks of real romance there. And it was about the story that really fantastical supernatural story that Twilight had. So it doesn't surprise me that films and Stewart has done since like Underwater, which I thought was terrific as a quite contained Sci-Fi thriller under the ocean. More films like Charlie's Angels last year, in which she was the best part. She was so funny and Frank in that remake

@isaacfeldberg Kelly Reichardt!

I ended up reading her collaborator writer Jonathan Raymond's work just because I loved her film so much that were based off of his short stories. So I'm really looking forward to finally checking certain women out. I actually was just going through my list of films to watch the other night and saw that it was still on my list. So it was kind of magic timing to hear you bring up here, and I did not realize Christmas Stewart was in it
