Happy Thorjis. Well, hello, everyone. Today I'd like to introduce you all to an animal rights activist and an artist, Karan Pratap Singh Rathore. He educates people about animal rights rights through various types of activism. His vision is to create the next big wave of veganism in India in the hope of achieving liberation for the animals who have been oppressed and abused longer than anyone else in the entire human history. We welcome you, Karen unswell

It's my pleasure to have you here on Swell. Karan. And I'm really excited about this conversation, so let's get started. So my first question for you is, tell us about your journey as a vegan. What made you get off on this part

So my journey as a vegan started quite a long time back. Actually around two, two and a half years back. I randomly came across some posts on social media talking about all the environment related issues that the world is currently facing, like, you know, like climate change, pollution, environmental and waste management issues. And it really sparked my interest because I always thought of myself as an environmentalist

@Karanpsrathore

And I'm so glad that you're on this journey of veganism, and you are here to spread awareness about animal rights. So I'm really grateful to you. So moving on to our second question, which is, what are some foundations that are doing great work for animal rights

Yes, it's sad on how we use and abuse animals and we term them as an it rather than a he or a she or they. I know it's done most of the times, too, because we don't know what the gender is, is, but what it perpetuates is the idea that they are a thing rather than a Sentinel being. So when we call them an ad, we call them or refer to them as a thing rather than being

Researchers shows that animals in Asia are amongst the most abused in the world. And as humans, as a society, we should always consider the moral rights of animals. And I'm really glad that there are foundations and organizations that are working for animal rights. So my next question for you is, do you have a message for people considering a vegan lifestyle? And how do you cope up with the struggle of not having enough support out
