Nostalgia & Representation in TV

But they're also taking certain liberties with the show, things that they were too afraid to do with the original show, like, particularly with the character Michael. Michael was always a character that was feminine, and he was often the b*** of the show. But now having Michael as a positive form of representation and portraying him as cool and popular. And Michael has friends, and Michael is on the basketball team, and Michael designed clothes really well

Like, it takes you to that moment in time. So yeah, when it comes to TV show reboots, there's going to be a reboot of a show that I actually watched and liked, or like a Spice Girls reunion or even the Friends reunion that they just did on HBO. These kind of things, I guess I'm very sensitive to nostalgia. These things make me emotional

My two cent about Reboot is that most of the companies, they do it for money because they market and they bank off of us and our I guess nostalgia or nostalgic feelings, which is okay considering we eat it. We love reboots and we love seeing like part two of shows or movies. But yeah, what other shows are you like? What other Reboots have you watched and are excited to see

Hey. So thank you for your response. I'm pretty good with like, the reboots, and I try to watch at least the ones that I'm interested in. For me, I've never been a Sex in the City person, so I haven't watched that one one, but more. I started watching How I Met Your Father one, and I feel like that one's been a little bit more successful just because they're not trying to rehash everything with old characters
