So we're seeing a lot of negativity within the rap music that I just want people to be aware of and have an understanding of. And I'm not saying that every rap music is bad, but the rap music that's being pushed out by the mainstream media and the person who's pushing behind the music is Satan. He's pushing out derogatory music. I mean, I like to understand that everybody could relate
And if we going to sit here and say the youth is our future, then, um, that we must all together collectively step up and be positive role models and show the youth a different path in a different way. Hi. I have to say that I agree with you. There's a lot of negativity in rap nowadays. I'm a rapper myself, but I keep my rap positive. The art form doesn't have to be negative. It can be positive and uplifting. Some of my rap is confrontational, but it certainly doesn't encourage people to commit crimes. I'm shocked at how many young boys are choosing a life of lawlessness and throwing their freedom away for a chance to be more thug
But after something after the 90s, it just seemed like a whole shift change just went downhill within my people, especially within a household and the effects of what's happening to our children. And you know, a lot of people, they'll argue, oh, rap ain't got nothing to do with it, blah, blah, blah, blah. But people fail to realize rap has a lot to do with it
I'm drawn to intellectualism and I'm drawn to insight and wisdom and things like that. Things that I don't normally find on platforms like TikTok and Facebook and stuff like that. So I'm really enjoying in this app. But yeah, I absolutely agree with you. A lot of the rap these days, it's very negative, it's not healthy
