Major companies are stepping up

Music. The best way to keep our politicians in line is through the pocketbook. I salute the companies who are taking this action. I would also like to see the general population ban Trump properties and truly affect Mr. Trump. His kids in their pocketbooks

Long term strategy and impact?

Howie, thank you for this post. I just saw it. And I'm so in agreement with you and my question around this whole idea of these corporations being showing their conscience is, how does this sustain itself and become I'm more embedded in the systemic policies of these companies? Can you go into their websites and find out where they stand on these in a general way because it's not consistent, and that's what worries me

Human equity shouldn’t be political, but powerful stance by companies

Howie, thank you so much for this post. I am really excited about this because I genuinely was not expecting it. I genuinely wasn't expecting companies to take such a huge stand. And I think that it's really exciting for me and the fact that nothing like this has happened that I know of or that I remember in my lifetime, and because it's rare for companies to take such a political stand, really human rights aren't political and shouldn't be, in my opinion

In thinking about this, one of the things that I thought about was the fact that the Senator from Florida, Senator Scott, I think his name is, was very anti supporting large cities and large States defined as Democratic States who he said, don't need help, don't need financial aid to help other through the crisis, and therefore he was opposed to it. My comeback to him would have been we understand that. Nevertheless, you're from the state of Florida
