And it's also about the collaborative spirit. It's about a lot of things that have to be in place so that if changes are made, it benefits the bottom line of the company, but it also benefits your performance and your mental wellness, which is really what this whole conversation is about. So I really appreciate you digging into this and telling us stories. It could be stories from a past job, it could be stories from a job you have now. But it's fascinating, right?

And I often experienced my coworkers around me slacking off a little bit more, or I would get paired with those who were a little less efficient in their work because I could do more and because I always picked everyone else up. And I think if you have a really healthy team environment and you are having access to good managers and everything, then it's completely different. And the expectation is that you would want to be rewarded

Everybody came in and thanked me. The only person that resented me was the head waitress who asked if I was trying to take her job from her. That goes back into the no good deed goes unpunished. And I was just know, I can assure you, I don't want your, it's coming from the heart. I just want to start the day in. Uh. But all the other waitresses were like, yes, thank you so much, Susie

I still set up my desk and my chairs and everything, but I did it in the way so that my students, when they entered my office, they would feel safe and secure and calm. But also, it was my calm and safe space. I didn't do that during the pandemic, many people did create spaces. So for me, when I went back to the workforce, it was important that I felt a bit more at home

Wow. All three of these replies are so different and so important. Emily, I really acknowledge the unique and bold perspective you have about burning out. So you might as well figure out how to do things at the rate that you can do it without expecting a cheerleading squad saying how great you are, knowing that you have to just measure what's possible
