My Support Group IS Not Receiving SUPPORT + Too Much Insulin?🙄

So I said, the problem isn't insulin. Your body is producing insulin. Obviously, you don't want to keep taking insulin and then find yourself going hypo and in a coma or possible death. So definitely check with your healthcare team to see why they're recommending that you take more insulin. Because with type two diabetics, we are insulin resistant. It doesn't mean that we don't produce it. It can also mean that we just don't produce enough

Hey, Erica, I was listening to what you were saying. You know what? Every time I talk to my freaking endocrinologist, they're always increasing my insulin. Like, always, because, okay, like, for instance, right now, it's 257. Yesterday was in the doesn't regulate. And I'm telling you, I cannot eat nothing. And it still is a little bit high

Now, he acknowledges that, yes, there's a need for insulin. He would never tell someone that, no, you don't need insulin. No, it's not like that. But it seems to be this trend of pumping us full of insulin. When type two diabetics have insulin, mind you, some of us may have a little bit to work with, or we have a lot of insulin resistance. But if our bodies is resisting insulin, it means that we have insulin

And so for me, I was just so frazzled that I hopped on my indoor bike for 25 minutes and worked out, and within the hour, my blood sugars came down even faster. Yeah, I'm not advocating for eating foods that are bad for us and spiking all the time, but it is good to treat yourself every once in a while. I don't see a problem with that
