And what's beautiful about this is there is no rubric for it, so you don't have to think too hard about rhyme or form or anything like that, because it's your poetry journal, so it's just to help you. And so I absolutely love that, because later on, you may want to develop that into something else or just keep it the way it is. I've been reading a lot about Emily Dickinson's life, which is pretty fascinating

So maybe I'm going to give it a shot. Lot to have a specific notebook for different things. Yeah. Because I do like it. I do like the idea, and hearing you talk about it made me excited. But yeah. Thank you. Thank you for sharing this

And in many ways, I do prefer that there to be just one everything type of notebook and not different books for different things. I only recently started keeping a poetic journal alongside my gratitude journal, only because the poetic journal really does help you express yourself poetically. I'm a firm believer that poetry is a manifestation of the deepest parts of ourselves. That's probably why a lot of our wording comes out symbolic and with many metaphors and such

I knew who she was when I was in school as far as the teachers talking about her, but oh my goodness, I'm reading the art of belief, which is like a biography of Emily Dickinson's life, and it is just, there is like drama. I didn't think there could be that much drama, but it's so much revealing about her personality and she reminds me of me in many ways. Her poetry is always stunning
