Having Fun as a Deep Feeler & Thinker!

article image placeholderWhy Deep Thinkers and Feelers Often Struggle in Relationships
And so I've had to be really aware over the years too, not only for my own mental health and relationship with myself, but also out in the world to definitely make room for just fun and lightness and not always being super self reflective or delving into those deep waters, even though it's the place that I really love to be the most

And I do think as far as men, specifically, that's a way that guys get really turned off on a relationship because they're just not in we're dumb. We're kind of dumb. Think of us as a dog that just had, like, there's a ball and we're happy you take the ball away and then maybe we're not so happy anymore. If you're about to give us a treat, we might run around in circles chasing our tail

I do think being someone that thinks and feels things a little more deeply probably does make me a little more like sensitive to art or watching things, needing to think and talk about them for better or for worse. And I feel like that probably contributes to why you are able to appreciate and talk so clearly and openly and passionately about the things that you care about or thinking about. And it's also one of the reasons I love listening to you, and I'm sure other people are listening to you

It’s easier said than done, but it’s a start.

So those are some things that help me out a lot. Also, listening to music sometimes that can help me as well. In walking, walking, going places being active, getting the body moving around that's kind of helps as well. For me

Being a listener

As a deep thinker and feeler. I also like to watch movies and listen to music. I think I'm also a good listener because I like to observe and to take in everyone else's stories as well, and without projecting my own ideas on it or emotions on it kind of just absorbing everything around me. I think that helps me get out of my head head and sort of enjoy someone else's perspective instead of always listening to my own
