Personally, I like consoles and I'd like to mention some of the pros of the consoles and because I'm a console lover, I'll try to be biased. Now speaking of why I prefer consoles, I'd say they are cheap. I'm in a PC with the PSI level of hardware will easily cost you more than 80,000 while a PS five only costs 50,000. Another thing is the exclusive. Pcs rarely get exclusives

And adding to your point, I can say that in PCs there is no issue of backwards compatibility. But in PS five we can normal repair games up to PS four and in PS four we cannot play games of PS three because it does not have backwards compatibility

But I think that consoles can only be used for gaming and PCs can be used for productivity or for any other things. So I think spending twice the amount can be worth it for people like me who also want to play games and do something more like coding or editing or learn something new or just use it for educational purposes. So yeah, if someone wants to just play games, I recommend them console like PSI or PS Four
