A piece of music that takes me back...
A song that really takes me back is heart shaped box by Nirvana. I remember I was ten when it came out, and I grew up in a household that really was more into r and b and oldies and hip hop and blues and things like that. So I really wasn't all that familiar with anything outside of that sphere for a while. And that was one of the first songs that really affected me and kind of made me lean more toward the kind of music I like today
Hey, Ashley. That's so fun to have those moments of exposure to the larger scene or a larger sphere or a larger world. It's pretty special. Definitely. It's cool that you can still recall that distinctive moment and how it's impacted you on your life journey and your music taste and pretty much everything, right?
