So I think it sort of makes sense. So I want to know about you. What are your dreams like? Oh, okay. I also remember those dreams. Most of the times I do remember those dreams and now at this point in my life, sometimes I get confused that the memories I have long back, like maybe of my childhood or maybe two decades earlier, those memories are whether really memories or they are dreams that were so profound that I remembered them

This also reminds me there was some culture, I can't remember the name of it, and maybe I heard about it in this talk on Clubhouse, where the entire village would sit around the fire each evening talking about the dreams they had had the night before. And then everyone attempts to interpret the person's dream. And I was thinking how interesting, but also how invasive that feels, because dreams can be really vulnerable, right?

Hello. Hi there. And just to let you know a fun fact that we sleep one third of our lives away. So one third of our lives we sleep away. And talking about dreams there are different states of understanding dreams through different level of lenses talking about alternate realities or dimensions it actually happens and we travel. We astral travel

So he was talking on those lines, but actually it made me think, because in dream, everything feels so real, so freaking real, that it becomes extremely difficult for us to distinguish whether we are in the reality or we are dreaming. So he brought up this point. However, this calls for a different Swell altogether. But yes, I kind of relate with your thoughts also on this

Hey, mahima, thank you for your wonderful reply to my spell and thank you for spelling out those questions for me. I think these questions will help me analyze my dreaming pattern. And yes, you are right when you say that it all comes down to what you are going through, you inside your heart and brain. I think that has a lot of bearing on what you dream. I don't personally believe in those ideas, archaic ideas, that dreams are future predictions

I type, what is the meaning of seeing this certain thing in the dreams? Like I see a lot of animals also in the dreams. So now Freud has a different analysis when it comes to dreams. And then there are some other analysis, like Islamic analysis of dreams or Hindu meanings of dreams or certain symbols that you see in the dreams. So everybody has their own explanations. But I think most of the dreams are the dreams that are helping us cope with events of life

There were some dreams where very rarely though, I have got such dreams where I actually have woken up with a very heavy heartbeat and that's kind of rare because I usually don't get those kind of dreams. But yes. So I have got all kinds of genres of dreams. Where there is sadness, there is happiness, there is excitement

And as our fellow Swell podcaster Christina, who goes by seeking plum, she mentioned that interpretations can be very personal and I think I agree with that because of whatever that goes on within our heads and hearts. I think that is what comes before us as dreams in the nights. Also, I heard one of my friends telling me that dreams are also a mechanism through which our brain clears our memories. So whatever memories are unimportant or not serving us any purpose so the brain clears it out through dreaming

Not much, but a little. So I'll sometimes see that I'm drowning and sometimes when you say that I'm not appropriately dressed, I think this is also one thing that I have witnessed in my dreams quite a few times. Sometimes my normal dreams turn into nightmare for no bloody reason, just like that. So yes, it is our deep seated fears, our psyche, our emotional and mental health at the moment. It could be so many things

But as I continued, gradually, I could realize that the dream part of your experience and the meditative part of my experience, the only difference if I have to bring out is that your dream may be unconscious, but my meditative state is more or less again, unconscious, but in a more controlled way. Not that I am trying action dreams exactly what I want to, or I am trying to meditate and focus exactly what I want to focus upon

I mean, what I felt in those ten minutes I think it was of 20 minutes. In those 20 minutes, I cannot describe it in words. It's indescribable, it's otherworldly. And the serendipity I felt, the calmness, it's just beyond this realm altogether. So, yes, it's true that my dreams are like Inception. I do not disagree on that. That's true

Hi, beautiful soul here. Action packed dreams. Yeah. Wow. My dreams are not action packed. I don't dream often. And when I do dream, it's in color. I think that's a song by Regina Bell. When I dream, I dream in color. I dream in color. And the dream manifests months later, meaning that I could be doing what I'm doing right now, just sitting on my bed

So, yes, I don't like having a closed mindset where I am rigid enough to negate the possibilities. They are certainly there, and these are the things which we anyway don't understand completely. So, yes, it is a possibility. It's wonderful. Your dream experience is unique and wonderfully insightful. So thank you for sharing this with us. Bye

Himanshi. You really brought a topic which is absolutely related to me, because I'll tell you, every time I even take a nap, I get dreams. And trust me, do you believe or not? But whatever I get in dreams one day or the other, I see the same dreams happening in front of my eyes. And I will always feel like, okay, I saw it somewhere. Where did I this situation is a repeat telecast. Where did I see?

Hi, Gauri. Thank you very much for your reply. I must say that your dreams are prophetic in nature, which is such a superpower to have. It's wonderful that different people have such vivid experiences with their dreams. So, yeah, it was insightful, and thank you for letting me know. And yes, I mean, dreams can be a source of strength
