Editing a documentary for the History Channel

article image placeholderUploaded by @goatea
And it's going to be first show called Book of Secrets on the History Channel. So that's what I'm doing today. And yeah, I'll be doing that for this week. And we do different shows on Book of Secrets. We did one on Pandemics, which was interesting and other things like government conspiracy topics and things like that. But this social network one is really interesting to me right now

Whoa. This is so cool. One of my next life dream jobs is to be a film editor or documentarian, and I was just so excited, excited to hear that you do this for a living. And I'm really curious how it works for you when working on something like this

Great question, Bowie. Yeah. It's definitely a collaborative process. Initially, editing started as more of a technical job, and you just put the shots together, exact shots to together that they would tell you. And then as technology got better, Editors could do a lot more work themselves, which is a blessing and a curse. But yeah, basically, I'm choosing in this case, it really depends on the project
