There may be times when, as a leader, you are challenged by your teammates with a difficult issue, one that's out of the box and not necessarily related to the day to day activities at work. The other day, a longtime friend, as we were catching up over a coffee, exclaimed, man, I am terrible at blowing my own trumpet, because of which I always feel stuck. And this took me back to my first role as a leader

Rather than being prescriptive and say do this, do this or give me this and some people even make the mistake of becoming the collector or the toll tax kind of person who will just keep on asking and demanding. So again, I don't hold anyone, I don't judge anybody who is going through that phase in leadership because it is a work in progress and one takes a lot of time to settle down into their own skin as it were and be comfortable being a leader
