Amongst them, these incredible video games that have been adored by millions of people around the world are now going to live exclusively on the Xbox. As far as console gaming is concerned, I think you would be incredibly hard pressed to find bigger news than this. I certainly can't think of any. They are essentially buying a publisher that is responsible for just absolutely massive titles the console war it may wage on. But boy, do Microsoft have the upper hand

I also wanted to add that while this is going to definitely change the landscape for console gaming here in the United States, it won't really have much of an impact in certain countries like Japan, for example, where the Xbox continues to struggle. I believe in 2019 a report came out that said of all of the Xbox sales globally, Japan accounted for less than 1% of those total sales. The PlayStation has always been massively popular there and I think it will continue you to be so

And I also think about when rare was a hot commodity and Microsoft bought them and then went on to do literally nothing with their properties. I think there was Banjo, Kazooie, nuts and bolts, and that was it. I don't think they really did anything with it. So I'm sure that's not going to happen with Bethesda, because we're obviously talking about more adult themed games and stuff. But it was a really strange thing, though. When they did that was rare
