Second Career A Second Life

article image placeholderUploaded by @Gamechanger
And there are so many others who give up their beautiful, lovely corporate jobs to go into their passions, like dancing, music, acting. Then I have seen people going into sports, then people going into tours and travels, going into adventures, going into crash, going into tutoring schools, the foundation schools for children and much more. And I think that this is like a second life within a life. And how many can have that privilege to live two lifetimes in a single life?

And that's how it is important that when you are approaching the fag end of your first career, it is good idea to plan what you want to do for your second career as well, and rather start looking into your second career option so that by the time you are over and done with your first one, you have the opportunity to move to the second one seamlessly. You can say goodbye to your first career happily, without any prejudice in mind or without any heartbreak or without any kind of resentments

I still think it's such an important thing for people to shift gears and open themselves up to new experiences. I have. I know I used to Doodle, and now I wouldn't say I've become an artist overnight, but I try. I've had some wins. I've been recognized in my small community of friends and well wishers, where there seems to be some. They seem to have an eye for what I do

Hello Ranjana and the concept of a second career as a second life. It represents the idea of embarking on a new professional path and a different line of work after having already established ourselves in previous career. And you are right that it's often seen as a second life because it's totally a 360 turn, 360 degree turn in our life, and it's often due as a chance for a personal and a professional reinvention and akin to our second life

That's wonderful. I would love to see some of your artwork. That'll be wonderful. Why don't you share it on one of the podcasts and tell us how you do it? And that would make for an interesting podcast. So thank you so much

The only limitations is that we have. It is in our minds that. No, it's too late. Why now? It's either now or never. So I don't think that's anything bad. It might become something which you can pursue it full time. Like people are becoming YouTubers, chefs and interior designers. So many other things. So thank you for this. Well, ma'am, have a lovely Sunday as well. Take care. Best wishes. Lots of success

Thank you Kadambari for taking the time to go through the podcast and share your views. Yes, you are absolutely right in saying that it can become a good profession in itself if you take up a hobby and a lot of people are doing it. So thank you so much. Bye

If it does, then it's the best of both worlds. But if it doesn't, then you need to take care of your finances and then make a space for yourself in some phase of your life where you can pursue your passion. Otherwise, you'll be living an unfulfilling life. One of the recent realizations, one of the latest realizations that I had looking around, seeing all my married friends, is that they feel this sense of non fulfillment. They have their careers, they got married

Thank you so much himanshi, for taking the time to share your valuable feedback. I am totally in agreement with you that there are bills to be paid and it is not easy for everyone to give up on their prime responsibilities and focus on their passion because there is so much that is required when you are in a family, the family responsibilities, duty, the bills, and so much more

But the point is that when we are living in a kind of a social makeup, where there are so many things counted, our worth, our stature, our everything, our status is counted simply on the basis of how much we have achieved in terms of materials to gain, how much successful we are in our career

@Swatiselflove

A lot of people have done that and they have succeeded. But majority of us are still struggling to find that handhold, the grab hold of probably the stability or that success rate that we were expecting. So, yes, you are absolutely right in putting across that point of view. And I love that story about the boy who said that I want to be happy
