Hey, everyone. So this swell is specific to those who menstruate. So if you do, menstruate have periods. Welcome. So I started my period today and I've just recently started to use period underwear, and I definitely recommend them. Ten out of ten. I got the Things brand and I got them when they're on sale. But they are pretty expensive. Though I do think that they're a pretty good investment because I've just been looking for more sustainable methods

So I just need to find different ways to different methods, I guess. So I have actually not heard of the period like underwear. So I might go look at that because I think that would be really nice just to have at night because I hate leaving tampons in overnight. Like always afraid of toxic shock syndrome or stuff like that. So I think that would be a good alternative. Yeah. I've never tried the Diva Cup. I've just always stuck to tampons

Hi. So I use the traditional positive tampons, and I'm trying to look for more sustainable options. I know there's menstrual cups. I don't know. I was looking at menstrual cups, and I was like, oh, you have to take a quiz to know how long your service is. And I was like, wow, I did not have the time to do it then. And I was like, I never went back to it

So I have only ever used pads and tampons, but like pads are not really my favorite just because I don't think they're really very good for your skin. I've had some issues with that. So like I don't really use pads anymore, but I usually they just use tampons. Although I definitely know tampons are not super sustainable, especially the ones with the plastic inserters. So I've kind of been thinking about trying to find maybe or research some sustainable brands for tampons

Hey Gabie, I am using Tampons currently for my periods. I feel like maybe transitioning to is it something other than Tampons is a little bit hard right now because living in the dorms is already a lot in College itself. I feel like maybe in the summer when I have a little bit more time and a space to myself where I could adjust to that could be more ideal

Hey Sasha, that's a really good point that you brought up. That because we live in the dorms, it's probably not the most comfortable thing to be using for sustainable methods for periods. But I definitely would recommend and just using at least like period underwear or going to sleep because it's like ten times more comfortable than using anything else in my opinion. But yeah, I would definitely see how uncomfortable it could be being dorms
