Hindsight Rarely is 20/20.

There's a popular saying that goes along the lines of hindsight is always 2020 and within that we understand that it almost likely never is. For if hindsight was really 2020, we would be able to avoid the issue. But there are things that happen that you just can't help sometimes but wonder how could this person not see the pattern of something to occur to which they ended up deciding yet again to participate in, let's say, domestic violence in relationships

Question what you know now to learn for the future.

Love this🙌🏾

Why did it happen? Do you feel that you allowed this to happen? And if you did, then what experiences in your life told you that this would be okay? And where are you now? How do you feel about it now? Those are the questions that I ask because I can relate. Have I been in an abusive relationship? Yeah, I was in an emotionally abusive relationship which turned physically abusive. And I actually grew up in a household where there was abuse

Thank you @LadyO

But we almost often never approach this examination with a plethora of examples of bibliography of sources and constant years and years worth of information to take in. We kind of just decide instantly, hey, I could say something silly as or the thing with the zodiac signs, right? Like hey, this Scorpio I've been with twelve Scorpios and they've all treated me unfairly. Never again will I mess with a Scorpio. I get it. I guess to some degree that can make sense
