What has been your most embarrassing swell moment? Or if you are brand new, here, what has been your most embarrassing moment on social media. Luckily for me, I've been on swell long enough in social media, long enough to where I can give you two stories. My first story on swell, I had a conversation asking people, what is it like to live on your own? Or do you live on your own?
The most embarrassing moment. Well, this will have to be on social media. And I've told you this story before. It was on Facebook. This took place, I want to say, about eight years ago. Yeah, it was was so embarrassed, man. And it was this girl on Facebook that well, the funny thing is, a friend of mine, my friend's girlfriend, tried to hook me up with her in a go as plan, but we stayed cool over social media

But obviously we don't have that luxury. I guess you have learned. Has that made you more cautious about responding to people's posts or do you you still kind of go about it the same way? You just surround yourself with different people curious about that. I've had instances with my child's mother. I've said things on her post that she didn't like and she would tell me in person and I was like, oh, oh, my bad

Because of course what hadn't occurred to us is there were plenty of people who would get online to Imitate teenage girls and that was more common than teenage girls who had the internet at home at that early in the 90. So eventually like this person just kept getting like more and more upset. And my cousin was just freaking out. So, I mean, I just logged off and was like, we're just not ever going to go back into that chat room

And later on, once I couldn't afford the four aa batteries that required it to work and function, I then had to get a voice recorder, a digital voice recorder that my friend put me on to because he had a couple of them that he stole from Target when he worked there. He didn't give to me one. I had to buy one myself. But that was another thing that I used all of the time

Which I think is really the energy of a lot of the internet. This understanding that you don't have any context for who I am, you're just going on the words I'm saying to you right in this second. But I actually think it's probably not about me having super skills or anything. I think partially when I post, if you even look on swell, my most recent posts are are stuff about like electronica film scores from the 1980s with a lot of research behind it

Interesting. Thank you for filling us in on your perspective and experience, or lack thereof, with embarrassment. And I think the example you gave of what you post probably signifies as such. What you post is of stuff that you know exactly about to the letter and and therefore your confidence is more instilled within what you're talking about

But when it comes down to it, whenever I actually have vacation time and the money and the ability to pick where I go, I always just try and go hang out with a friend who might be in an exciting city or country but ultimately I'm trying to get with my friends. It's a very LCD sound system. I've realized I cannot think of a single counter example
