#AskSwell Do you ever think about where Coca-Cola got it’s Coca from?

Is it strange to you that CocaCola at one point had cocaine in their product? Or is that just me?

Always Coca-Cola?

Hey, what's going on, Dewuan? Hope you're doing well. It's interesting. When I saw your post, I had a completely different thought. And I don't know if it's because I, like, kind of intentionally or rather subconsciously worked it into the question you asked, but whenever I think about Coca Cola and a lot of other, like, big beverage brands, I always think about where they get their water, which is, like, a hole

I know about nestle. They have a huge amount of water companies they own. And sometimes I wonder, like, are they just filling up tap and slapping a label on it? Or are they going to the glaciers in the caps and scooping up copious amounts, airlifting it back here. Who knows? But something to consider. And hopefully the water doesn't have cocaine in it, because if it did, we'd be pretty f*****. That's fluoride, though, right?

You're. So I have a couple interesting stories to go along with this one. When I was a teenager, we used to go to this old abandoned cement factory that was, I don't know, half mile away from our house. And one day we were cruising around there and digging around, we found one gallon bottles of Coca Cola. They were used to ship Coke syrup in them. And on the bag it actually said cocaine removed

Like, you just don't understand. You don't understand how Crisis texted. So, yeah, it's a good thing that they have ethics now and practices that well, I don't know. Guess the jury is still out on their ethics, right. Concerning the water and interesting reverse osmosis, I'm going to have to do some research on that, but it sounds sophisticated, but they're using Houston water

It could take you out that cocaine could take out your heart. So I wonder if back in the days, if you drink enough Coca Cola, did it lead to heart attacks? You know, I guess they I guess they added small amounts, but yeah. That is wild, man. I'm pretty sure we're going to find out some crazy s***, bro, in the future. Like what they added

Of course. Right. But there were actually also surgeons and doctors who use cocaine to do what? Stay up. Yeah. So Coca Cola using cocaine not far fetched and was conducive to the time of when cocaine was not known. As we know cocaine today

Yes, it was of its time. What a time to be alive where cocaine was free. But I wonder that cocaine must have been pure because obviously they weren't downgrading it to make crack or anything like that. So they had to have known that it was addictive to some degree. Right, but then again, I don't have the research in front of me, so I'm just assuming things to be that were not of that time
