Reaching For Truth.

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
It doesn't care about me. It remains unbiased. It's something we can reach at moments, but we never can own and obtain forever. So how important is the truth to you

How far are you willing to go to grasp it?

Good morning. First of all, I love your new profile picture. It's really awesome. When I speak my truth. The potential getting blocked by people. Absolutely. And I have I've seen posts and things people said that I thought was really hurtful and offensive towards others or myself and told them that. And whether I was right or wrong, I just felt like it was necessary to say and so they blocked me

I guess I could draw from coming out to my Orthodox Jewish family when I was very young, very young the first time, I think I was 18 and having the horrible experience of what the consequence was, and then the ripple of that for years. And I knew I said to myself, wow, that was too early. I shouldn't have done that. I was not prepared for the results

Thank you @studentlife

I'd like to think truth works as a spectrum, and we tap into aspects of it at various points in the experience of our lives. But there are some people that hang on certain frequencies a bit more often than most, and this is where we can get a lot of great civil rights leaders, whistleblowers, et cetera, to which the truth that they speak of can be certain death for them, their loved ones, as well as the population of others

Hey, I just liked what you just said with a little heart, but I wanted to say the heart. I really appreciated what you just said. It was very it continued, contained sort of the cognitive dissidents that I think so many of us live into every day. And you capture it beautifully. So I want to reflect that with my voice

We hear the golden rule, like always be Truthful and honest. Just today on the Dating profile on Hinge, the lady said, all I want from you is to be 100. You hear that all the time. But, you know, there are certain discrepancies with that. There are certain variations of truth that people really want that you have to kind of quell. And really, sometimes they mean more so you and your life rather than speaking about other people's lives

Hi, Dewuan. Yeah, I mean, speaking my truth or what feels true to me is I think the most important thing. And a lot of times people will hide behind things or words or emotions or whatever. And when you speak your truth, sometimes I think it can either rattle a person or it can make them take a closer look at themselves

Well, Dewuan, that's a great question. And my answer will be yes. If I think at that moment it's important and it's relevant, I definitely see speak up, no matter what consequences. I even risk my life in a few occasions and I would do it over again. So my answer would be yes. And there are some situations where I think it's simply not relevant what my truth is, so I wouldn't get involved and let it go
