Last call for Black Allegiance, yall.

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
The last day of February, 2023. So we all know what that means. This is your last day to show love and appreciation for black culture, for black history. For as of tomorrow, we cease to exist. We will have to wait another year for your trivia. We will have to wait another year to be reminded of the inventions we've made. We will have to wait another year for Black History Month flavored ice cream

Are you glad that this month will be over? 👀

Not the Black History Month flavor ice cream. I just wouldn't know what flavored it they used. Did you try it like that's? Just first of all, that's horrible marketing. Very inconsiderate. But, yeah, Black History Month. Black history is American history. 365. It's just not ice cream. That just took me out this morning. Have a good day

But unfortunately, we only have this narrow view of Black history pertaining to America, pertaining to the successes we've had here, the inventions we've had here, rather than the influences that permeate the globe, permeate our fabric of existence in DNA. But history we tie to culture, and the culture of Blacks firmly is staunched in America to which we were given such a slur of a categorized way of being being interpreted as Black last, last, last, last, last, last call. Black allegiance

Black History Month is just a political machine that does nothing to help the black community.

They just care about the police officers that mistreat or kill black people because they're down with the cause, man. It's down with the political cause. Yo, me the hip hop hoppy. Stupid. Stupid, pathetic. So, no, I'm glad that it's gone and we can go back to normal and we can stop with the stupidness, because everyone with a brain can see it just does nothing for the black community. Many black leaders don't do anything for the black community

Or you could say it's world history, right? Refrigerated trucks. I forgot his name. Frederick McKinley Jones. Yeah, Frederick McKinley Jones. Without his mechanical freezer truck, I don't think it would be possible to transport foods across the country like we do. Now, the semi trucks that are refrigerated transporting our grocery foods, fast food, this technology that he invented is global. So is it Black History Month or World History Month?

Ray dog. Am I pronouncing that correctly? If not, my apologies. But thank you for participating in this. WellCast, and you have some interesting choice of words not only about Black History Month, but other black related issues and topics, some of which I did not go into into with this particular swell. This swell was meant to be satirical in nature, but it is always interesting what people can take from satirical context

I was halfway joking and I do kind of feel we're relegated to some trivia board game, some some facto, a Wikipedia article that someone can recall and educate you on about your people. But these are just my thoughts. Thank you so much for sharing your own to this conversation

The Southeast Indians. So it's like, d***, anybody can be black. No, your peers, you have to be specific, right? I'm from Ireland. My ancestors are from Ireland. I'm from Italian. I'm from Italy. Italians, they have their own holiday. Christopher Columbus. Right? But yeah, man, peace out

It's very clear to them he's a Jew or this person's German or Irish, those examples you had brought up. But black people, we were systematically wiped of heritage to where we even have conflict with Africans in terms of identity, in terms of heritage, in terms of culture and community. So I think with Black History Month and how it can become problematic is that even the history of black history is one that is just shrouded in tragedy. Our worst years as a culture happen here
