It’s Morbin Time. 😰

But because of social media and also this film was like universally panned by critics as well as you and me of the world alike. But because of social media almost embracing it because it was so bad, Sony is feeling inclined to make a sequel. And a lot of people are on the fence about this because the memes that make fun of this film, it's almost Ironically saying that it's great

This smells to me of Sony trying to squeeze every last drop out of it that they can or they are just fully on board with the joke now. So I was actually looking up the film when you were talking about it, and it made something like $60 million more than its budget. So they made money on it technically. Maybe they're just like, okay, people are going to go see this. Why not do it?

It's very popular in India and there was a certain change that was brought about in cricket as a result of a social media uprising sort of. And cricket boards, the English Cricket Board actually listened to them and made that certain change as a result of that. So that was another example of social media having it hold over like what big companies say. And I don't know if this really played a part. The whole Amber heard was Johnny that trial

This will be fun. @Taylor

Is this something that is so bad that it's good or is it so bad that it's hilarious that they are convincing Hollywood to think that it's good and Hollywood is at the mercy of these memes, these people who did not go to Harvard or Yale, who have no credentials of any kind to evaluate a film in terms of where it should be greenlit or not, et cetera

@ririshah thanks for the support!

They had to change their practices and how you could buy stocks and all that sort of stuff. But long story short, Memes are interesting because they're more of the people. It's all user based. It has nothing in degrees, College degrees. There's no real criteria to make an effective Meme other than that you have it resonate well with the culture now. Obviously you can buy likes and buy engagement and that sort of stuff and maybe that to some degree has taken place
