So I'm going to be pushing myself to a level that I don't know if I can sustain and I don't know if I can make the cut off, which may mean that I'm about to attempt a race and I may finish the distance and still be disqualified because of time. And I'm going to admit that I have not prepared for this the way that I needed to. It's been very difficult for me to train for the last few months

Because, like you said, you are projecting that you're going to fail at it, and then you're projecting that you know you're going to feel some type of way about it, but you're still doing it like, you're still showing up. And that right there means more than anything. And just remember that if it doesn't turn out the way that you want it to turn out, because that right there is gold in more than half the battle

And by the time I got off the mountain, I was at right about a twelve minute average, which was as soon as I got there, I was like, I'm going to make it. I was really happy about that. Now, the harder thing, and again, it's one of the things that I don't know how much running you do or how much running anybody who listens does. The thing about running on a mountain is the mountain itself may not be that bad
