Tahdig - Persian Crispy Rice

article image placeholderCheck Out This Delicious Persian Rice Dish Called Tahdig
I forget the name of those specific rice dishes, but really, you can do almost anything, anything that can sort of Fry at the bottom of a pan you can make tattoo with. My younger brother's favorite is potato tadiq. So I'm going to link a recipe here. It's not the one that I use in my household, but it's pretty darn similar, and I'm hoping that maybe somebody here tries it out and lets me know what they think

@Arun told me the recipe a few days ago 😀

Hey Taylor, it's so funny that you posted this. My best friend who is also half Persian, and I were actually talking about Daddy just like a few days ago and he was telling me how to make it at home. I haven't gotten around to trying it out. I will hopefully try it out over the break and let you know how it goes. Interestingly

And to your point, about thinking about it as a potato dish. I think that's sort of the beauty about Tati and also about a lot of Persian rice in general, is there are so many different things that can be done with it. And so I had plenty of friends growing up that only ate potato tattoo in their house. It's not that they didn't like the other types. It was more so that's what their parents grew up eating
