I was not able to fulfill my mother's dream, but I did decent enough right to land up an engineering degree, which is what most Indians aspire for. You either become an engineer or become a doctor, or you do not arrive in life. That's how most people see their life. And the narrow minded me back then, without a lot of out of world exposure, took up engineering because I did not know of any other path at that point of time

And I think it's important for a lot of people, especially in their early 20s, mid twenty s, to hear this, because we have this idea in our mind that by a certain age, we have to have everything chalked out and everything has to make sense. Every single choice of ours has to make sense for us. Every single choice must stem from passion, and it must be a very conscious choice

You can still find happiness in the journey that is called life. And you don't necessarily have to to arrive somewhere to get happy because here is a point that will never come in one's life
