Newbie post! Covid positives—in the best way

Not like getting a positive test, but just positive things that have happened in the last eight months. The thing that was stuck out to me today is I attempted no, I succeeded in making a King cake. A Mardi Gras King cake. I always been intimidated by it, and I had done enough cooking in the last eight months to make me think that nothing is going to intimidate me about cooking anymore. I'm going to make this King cake, even though it's not the Mardi grass season

Hey, Susan, you know, I was literally having this exact same conversation with somebody just a couple of hours ago. You know, obviously this has been horrible for everybody that I think is a given, and I don't even want to touch on that because this is about being positive. I will say that this time definitely gave me the opportunity to put a little more effort into some things I've been wanting to do

And now that there's really nothing else to do but really sink your time into that, I think it's outstanding. And something very positive. I'd say the other positive is having a clean house, clean yard with not much else to do. There's no excuse not to get the leaves up. And that's a big thing around here

How could it not be it's cheesecake unless you went, like, for some low fat kind, which I did once, which was a huge mistake because it was for a potluck type party and one person had a slice. Do you know, it's like bringing home a cheesecake from a party? It's terrible. It way so disheartening. So. Yeah, Congratulations on that. And Congratulations to you guys for helping people start small businesses
