Staying loyal to airlines

article image placeholderUploaded by @emmameyer
So I was wondering if you all have an airline that you stay loyal to or do you kind of just fly whichever one kind of just makes the most sense or more convenient? Because I'm honestly really curious. I feel like it's so easy to fly the same one, but also I could see it being easy just flying random ones each time. So let me know what you all think about that

Hey, Emma, I'm glad you brought this up because I feel like throughout the United States, Airlines like the Airlines that people use tend to vary because like on the West Coast and I'm based in Washington. So if you like, a majority of us use Alaska Airlines because they are like the dominant Airlines. But for my upcoming trip, I think I'm using Delta, which I'm kind of worried about because I don't really have that much experience with Delta

The Airlines that I use are so random. So I recently flew Southwest, I'm flying United in a couple of weeks. And then this summer when I go overseas, I'm flying Delta and British Airways. But I've flown Delta many times. Absolutely love it. No complaints. They always have good snacks. So you'll be all set for that

But yeah, I am definitely one of those people that tries to stay as loyal as possible to specific Airlines and hotel chains just because you get the bonus points, you get treated better sometimes. And I think that you also have places that you continuously go and when you go to places that airline flies to, you want to get those perks and you want to be able to maybe get nicer seats on longer flights or upgraded or free bags instead of paying for checking

Honestly, I know a lot of people that fly the same airline. Once they find one they really like. But I'm the same as you. I'm always looking for like, what's the best time, the best rate. Now I do have like a few Airlines that I've had some pretty negative experience experiences with. So I really try not to fly those Airlines

But I do know my uncle one time said that you can get refunded or maybe get the credit back if you cancel with short notice or something. So that could be it. But yeah, my dad is definitely that type of person with Southwest. But personally I don't really mind when me and my friends look for flights, we're just looking for the cheapest flights. And most times they're usually me on different Airlines, like one way and then the other way back

It doesn't make much sense in this time consuming world. You have to go for the better option or the fastest option. You're not going to wait for your favorite. You're just going to go for the one that is ready. So Yeah
