Perfectionism Isn’t Perfect, Either.

But remember, social media is often a highlight reel, and what we see isn't always a true reflection of reality. And while it might seem counterintuitive, realizing the fact that there are so many less than perfect people on social media was actually comforting for me, because it means there's space for everyone's authentic voice, including my own. There is no single cause for perfectionism, but rather a combination of factors that can contribute to its development

And it was kind of beautiful to remove the stress of having to be technically perfect and focus on telling a story about ourselves a little bit more. And I feel like that's helped me a lot with breaking that barrier of sharing the work, and it makes me excited to do it now. And like you said, it's less scary every time. So, yeah, I really, really loved listening to this. Thank you so much for talking about this

Congrats to you ro, for organizing the workshop. That sounds like a great creative outlet. I'd also like to mention here something else that sounds cliche, but it actually helped me. And that is when trying something new, get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Once I got used to the uncomfortable feeling, it freed me up to take the next step forward. And it seems really simple, but it was actually quite helpful. So I hope that helps you too. Thanks for sharing. Bye
