Liverpool did not show up to the match. Really disappointing there because spurs easily took care of business like we anticipated. I just thought Liverpool would do the same. I guess they had their mind on Champions League this week, but I still thought they would be able to handle Bournemouth with no problem. So that was a bummer
Hey, Michael, thanks for the post. Very tough break with that Liverpool result. It's interesting because while they are certainly the better team, both on paper and I think, cosmically, I saw a loss coming. I did. And I don't know I was talking about it with my younger brother the other day and I feel like there's this tendency in the Premier League when teams teams give another team a proper thrashing, they take the foot off the gas in the next game
I think sports are going to hang tough in there. I'm more or less thinking United as a fraud right now. I don't think they're going to hang in those top four spots. One team I'm worried about is Newcastle right now. They're tough, they're playing with a lot of grit and that's one team to watch out for, in my opinion. I'm not really concerned with the spurs. I think they'll be in there united as the team
