Without music, life would be a mistake...

I love music. I love to dance to music. I love to listen to music when I'm sad, when I'm happy, when I'm excited, when I have melancholy, like all the emotions, all the feels. Music has always been there for me. It's probably one of my best friends I'll ever have. So I love life with music. There's no other way

You. Music is a calm in my storm. Music has given me so much. Music has helped me speak. Music has helped me read. Music has helped me understand emotion. Music has helped calm my emotions. Me. Music has been very instrumental in my life, my entire life. My mother was a disc jockey in Detroit and I played an instrument for eight years. Music was always a part of the fabric of my household

@DorasListening Music & Life are the BEST of friends 🥹 #joy #memories #moments

I couldn't agree more. I'm grateful. I'm so grateful for music. It has given me a sense of peace. It has given me a sense of comfort. It has given me a sense of excitement and joy and just a steady knowingness. Because life is interesting. You don't know who's going to be here today, who's going to be here tomorrow. You don't even know if you're going to be here today or tomorrow

And that just is a testament to what you're saying about just loving those simple, endearing, beautiful moments in life. And music will really spark you right back there. Right? So let's just say you had this fabulous time with your family, and then later you come back and you hear a song maybe that was playing during that time or whatever or something in that song that reminds you of that moment. That's music, and that's what music do for us. Right?

@DorasListening Thanks 😊 #appreciation

And just think of when my dad used to play that type of music on actual records, which I know young people are like, what? But vital records. Yes. Like an actual record player. And just appreciate how much music meant to him and how he was able to funnel that joy and passion into my life. And so, yeah, music is grounding, and I'm grateful. I'll be getting ready, and my son KJ, will come bust open the door and start wind up
