#Perspective | The AI revolution is going to...

article image placeholderUploaded by @Domm
So now I guess AI has to come along and navigate humanity to whatever direction it decides, whatever its goals are, and not what's programmed in it, because those will most likely change of course, because it will become smarter than its programming and goals, and program itself over and over and over again into an infinite area where, unless there's already an AI grandfather around now that's been through it all, we will be completely left in the dust and in the dark with our overlord

But I don't know if AI will turn out like that or if it'll be as integrated a tool as a computer is now, or. I don't know. I guess I'm more scared of the hands that hold the tool. Like whoever is using AI, or whoever can get control over AI, what their intentions would be, which, in a position of power, kind of makes me lean towards not great, not great intentions. That's what's kind of scary to me

When push comes to shove, I highly doubt AI can outsmart the human mind. We are the one who birthed it, man. The whole AI craze. Like, we are the fathers, right? And let's be honest. AI ain't got nothing on our wicked moves on the real world. I understand. I completely understand. Your concerns are valid. But I believe there are humans out there who can do way worse than AI could dream of
