The early reviews of the show weren't that great, and I think that affected why some people never picked it up. But I think the show got really good as the season went along, and it culminated in a really fantastic finale. And I think the show is well worth picking up, and it may be a bit of a slow burn, but once it really gets going, it's really worth it.
