Does Hulu Deserve The Backlash For Relasing Astroworld: Concert From Hell Documentary?
Do you think that Hulu should have kept the documentary on their platform and that they did nothing wrong? Or do you agree with the backlash that this is just way too soon to release a documentary like this? Personally, I do feel like this documentary came out at the wrong time. It would be different if it came out a year or maybe five years from now. But right now, while the investigation is still ongoing, it just feels like it's way too soon and it's very insensitive

I think I have an opinion about this, but I have more of a question to pose and or perhaps somebody that's listening will provide me with an answer. But what is the difference between Hulu posting this and just normal news coverage that's ongoing. I understand if the answer is, well, both things are bad. They shouldn't do

I think people see a news report as a way to be informed about something. While a documentary can double as a way to inform but also be used for entertainment. I think that's why so many people are upset. That because they don't want this tragedy to be used for entertainment, and they just don't see a news report as a method of entertainment

I had not seen anything about this either. So like Taylor said, thank you so much for sharing. I feel of two minds about this because I hear where you're coming from, Dominique, where there's kind of this line between between news coverage and documentary reporting or narrative. And I think the thing that might be tricky here is that often documentaries are used to do a deeper dive into a particular subject or issue
